The OLC Development is a new twin tower development in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The two towers are similar in design but vary in number of stories with 50 and 34 stories respectively. The UT Towers are designed with a complex façade shading design of louvres designed to reduce the solar heat gain, while still allowing the office spaces to be daylit throughout office hours. The UT Towers are aiming to achieve LEED and GBI Gold certifications.

Input by IEN Consultants

  • Energy and thermal optimization of the building using computer simulation (IES Computer Suite).

  • Daylight and façade design optimization using advanced computer simulation (Radiance)

  • Framework on how to achieve LEED and GBI Gold certification.
